Our resort specifically was voted Best Ski Resort in North America in 2017 and we have been nominated again this year. Uniform / Dress code

The Waldorf Astoria will provide full uniforms, except shoes. Team members will need to purchase their own black comfortable shoes. If there is a need to purchase a piece of your uniform, then you will be reimbursed.

Working time

Work Hours: You can expect to work an average of 32 - 40 hrs/week throughout the summer. Schedules are created by the department managers based on the business needs and are put out 10 days in advance. If you have any special requests, then you must speak with the manager prior to the schedule being posted.

Work Start Dates: You should plan your U.S. arrival so you can begin working June 15.

Work Finish Dates: We are looking for candidates who can finish working September 15 – October 1.
You should be as upfront and honest as possible about your work finish date. It is customary in the U.S. to
give at least two weeks notice of your final day of work.

Accommodation description

The Waldorf Astoria does not provide housing, but apartment housing is available in the Park City region. The Waldorf Astoria will assist in grouping Exchange Visitors together to help in securing housing. Housing fees are paid directly to the apartment complex or rental unit landlord. Additional details on securing housing will follow any potential job offer.

Description of the area

Park City is a popular tourist ski town nestled in the Wasatch Mountains. It is popularly known for having the largest ski resort in North America; Vail's Park City Mountain Resort. However, Park City has become a popular summer destination as well due to its world class biking and hiking trails, open air concerts, and multiple golf courses. Park City also has over 100 restaurants and bars, numerous spas and health clubs, and the Egyptian Theater for live plays. Along with these there is a multitude of summer activities to keep anyone busy, such as camping, fishing, recreating at nearby Jordanelle Reservoir, and shopping.
