Position Description:
Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring a safe environment for swimmers. You must be able to recognize and react properly in emergency situations. You will check and maintain specific chemical levels in the pool and operate the pool filtration system. Additional duties may include but are not limited to cleaning the pool and surrounding areas, cleaning the restrooms, removing trash and enforcing facility rules and gate control. Requirements:
Shallow Certification. With this Certification you will be able to guard all areas in the park. In order to acquire this certification, you must: Swim 50 yards continuously and in a comfortable fashion. Swim down 5.5 feet, retrieve a brick and swim it to the wall.
Physical Demands:
Lifeguards will be working outdoors, often in bright sun and will be exposed to hot, humid conditions, cold rainy temperatures, as well as chlorine fumes or airborne chemical particles. Employees are occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level is usually loud. All workers will perform physical activities that require moving one's whole body, such as lifting, balancing, climbing, and stooping or bending. These activities also require considerable use of the arms and legs. Lifeguards will be required to stand for long periods of time and may be required to sit for extended periods of time on an elevated chair. Lifeguards will be rotated between various positions/slides which are built at various heights above ground level. Will be required to lift, push, or carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds frequently and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Lifeguards may be moved between various departments as needed.
Games Attendant

Game Attendants are responsible for working inside of an arcade or booth, promoting games to guests, collecting/dispensing tickets, prizes and money sales, assisting guests as needed with questions and troubleshooting game issues. Attractions Attendant

Uniform / Dress code
Uniform or Dress Code Requirements:
Students must bring with them khaki colored pants/shorts, along with closed toe shoes. We will supply work shirts, jackets and hats for students. Shirts must be wrinkle free and tucked in. Lifeguards will be required to pay a fee for their waterproof jacket.

Description:
Casino Pier and Breakwater Beach offer recently renovated accommodations in both houses and apartments. Requests for 2-person rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis (limited availability). Some rooms can accommodate up to 4 people, while most accommodate 3.
All residences include a shared kitchen, bathroom, and living room, and provide TVs, internet, and basic cooking utensils. Please note that single rooms are not available.

Housing Deposit Refund
Housing deposits will be refunded if the following criteria are met: 1. The residence was cleaned and left in good condition with no damage. 2. The employee obtained a successful receipt of visit to the Social Security Office for a social security card. 3. The employee honored their work end date: the employee did not quit, was not terminated, or did not violate a housing policy.

House Rules
The town of Seaside Heights has a noise ordinance that goes into affect at 11pm. The town also requires that residents put out garbage/recycling cans after sunset for morning pickup, and that the bins are removed from the sidewalk shortly after they have been emptied. Residents will be ticketed by the town of Seaside Heights and are responsible for paying any fines incurred. Casino Pier does not permit overnight guests, parties or underage drinking on our properties. All residents are required to be respectful to their housemates and to communicate a cleaning schedule and tasks that each person is responsible for.
Cleaning Responsibilities
Yes, residents are responsible for cleaning their housing. Basic cleaning supplies are supplied upon arrival. Residents are responsible for replenishing the cleaning supplies when they run out.
