Work description
Food and Beverage Cooks are responsible for assisting the waitstaff, bringing water to the tables, clearing tables, taking out the garbage, helping to set the tables in the dining area, bringing dishes back and forth from the kitchen and generally keeping the kitchen clean. All staff will be expected to help in other areas of the restaurant as needed such as hostess, food runner, kitchen positions etc. The wage is $11.25/hr

Housemen and women/ Housekeeping work in the housekeeping department and work in hotel rooms but are not limited to stripping bedding, transporting and bringing new linen to floors and rooms and to the laundry department for the housekeepers. They assist the housekeepers in many ways. The wage is $11.50/hr.
Admissions/ Tickets Cashiers ensure superior customer service while selling admissions and parking to our guests to the waterpark. Possess excellent guest relations/communication skills by dealing with customers in an efficient and professional manner. Responsible for supporting and ensuring retail associate’s commitment and ability to provide outstanding customer service through training and example. Generating sales, merchandising, safeguarding company assets, and controlling inventory are further responsibilities required for this position. The wage is $10/hr.
Housekeepers work in the housekeeping department and work in hotel rooms but are not limited to stripping bedding, transporting and bringing new linen to floors and rooms and to the laundry departments. Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning rooms, vacuuming, changing linens and towels, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and doing laundry. The wage is $12/hr.
Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring a safe environment for swimmers. You must be able to recognize and react properly in emergency situations. You will check and maintain specific chemical levels in the pool and operate the pool filtration system. Additional duties may include but are not limited to cleaning the pool and surrounding areas, cleaning the restrooms, removing trash and enforcing facility rules and gate control. Employees must have the swimming skills necessary to become certified as a shallow or deep water lifeguard. Lifeguards will monitor pool areas and be certified by personnel for shallow water first aid and CPR (life saving techniques). Shallow water guards require less skills than deep guards but must be able to swim at least 25 yards. Deep guards will need to swim 275 meters without stopping and dive 3 meters down. Employees must also be flexible enough to work in other positions in the hotel if asked to. Required Duties Lifeguards monitor pool areas and assist guests going down slides and tube rides. Your employer may ask you to perform other duties related to your job type. The wage is $10/hr

Uniform / Dress code
Uniform: All staff must arrive with neat black or khaki pants and black gym shoes and clean-cut appearance. For lifeguards the uniform is provided at no cost (bathing suit, shirt, shorts, hat/visor). You need to bring your own sandals with back straps.

Working time
Work Hours: You should expect to work on average 32 hours per week. Work Start Dates: You should plan your U.S. arrival so you can begin working as early as possible through June15 until July 1. Work Finish Dates: We are looking to hire candidates who can finish working between September 1st and the 30th. You should be as upfront and honest as possible about your work finish date. It is customary in the U.S. to give at least two weeks notice of your final day of work. Interviews: We are able to hire couples and friend groups.
Accommodation cost
Housing Information: The housing is set up dorm style. Each room holds 4 students with 2 sets of bunks 4 closets, a desk, refrigerator, microwave and a bathroom. Each building has a common area kitchen, living room, and laundry facilities. There is a $200 refundable deposit provided that students are in good standing with their rent payments, no damage, and if they work out their contract they should receive their deposit. The weekly cost of housing to participants is $80.00.
